Job summary

AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is seeking a System Analyst II (Software Safety) to support safety-critical software across DoD programs at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The role emphasizes safety assessments, hazard analyses, and IV&V across complex radar and simulation systems.

You will collaborate with government and contractor teams, ensure compliance with MIL-STD-882E, and contribute to safety deliverables such as SSA, SAR, FHA, and LOR mapping.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or CS or related field.
• Five years of related experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and review safety assessments and hazard analyses on complex software systems.
• Verify safety requirements and MIL-STD-882E compliance within SDLC.
• Collaborate with Safety SMEs, program offices, and developer safety teams.
• Perform IV&V to verify safety-critical software safety.
• Participate in system design reviews and technical exchange meetings.
• Maintain critical safety artifacts: SSA, SAR, FHA, HTS/HTL, SSHAR, LOR mapping.
• Stay updated on software safety engineering practices.
• Represent IV&V in weekly/bi-weekly/milestone meetings.
