Job summary

Nemean Solutions, LLC seeks a System Analyst to support software development across defense systems, performing IV&V of safety-critical documents, test procedures, and results. Focused on defining safety requirements and mapping them to hazards with proper Level of Rigor.

You will collaborate with Safety SMEs, program offices, and developer teams, conduct safety reviews, and maintain SI artifacts while staying current with MIL standards and security guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical fields or extensive background in radar and communication simulation systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with requirements management software (e.g., DOORS).
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-464 environmental test standards; basic statistics and test methodology.
• Security+ preferred but not required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and Review Safety Assessments and hazard analyses on complex software systems.
• Verify Safety Requirement Implementation within the SDLC per MIL-STD-882E.
• Collaborate with Safety SMEs, program offices, and developer safety teams to ensure safety in the SDLC.
• Perform Verification & Validation of safety-critical software.
• Participate in system design reviews and provide actionable engineering recommendations.
• Maintain SSA, SAR, FHA, HTS/HTL, SSHAR and LOR artifacts.
• Stay updated on software safety engineering and safety policies.
