Job summary

Woodsong Technologies, LLC seeks a reverse engineering specialist to join our Fort Meade-based team. You will analyze hardware, software, and signal infrastructures in embedded devices, perform penetration testing, and document findings for clients.

Qualifications

• 5 years as a software reverse engineer in similar scope; a bachelor’s degree may be substituted with 4 extra reverse engineering years.
• Experience with low-level programming and assembly language.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with industry standard reverse-engineering tools.
• Experience automating reverse engineering tasks.
• Excellent communication with team and clients.
• Team-based collaborative abilities.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Required Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Polygraph

Description

This candidate will perform hardware, software, and signal analysis of embedded devices and their supporting infrastructure equipment. They will be expected to perform penetration testing and vulnerability analysis of these embedded devices and associated infrastructure. In addition, they will also be expected to document these results.

Required Skills And Experience

• Five (5) years of experience as a software reverse engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. OR Four (4) years of additional reverse engineering experience may be substituted for a 'bachelor's degree.
• Experience with low-level programming and assembly language
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python
• Knowledge of industry standard reverse-engineering tools
• Experience automating reverse engineering tasks
• Excellent communication skills with team and clients (both written and verbal communications)
• Team-based collaborative abilities
• Resourceful in terms of problem solving and troubleshooting
