Job summary

ASRC Federal Data Networks Corporation (DNC) seeks a Software Requirements Engineer to support the TraCSS program for the NOAA Office of Space Commerce in Suitland, MD. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and tracing TraCSS requirements across multi-vendor teams within a SAFe framework.

The candidate will collaborate with government stakeholders, Product Owners, and engineers to ensure clear technical clarity, manage dependencies, and prioritize requirements through program increments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5-7 years of professional systems engineering experience with an emphasis on working with stakeholders to develop and manage software requirements.
• Proficiency with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence) for tracking requirements, dependencies, and program risks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the TraCSS Requirements Management Plan describing the framework for requirements development, tracking, change control, and tool implementation.
• Provide supporting contractor PWS technical requirements management through maintenance of traceability to artifacts and program requirements.
• Ensure requirements are incorporated throughout the Agile software development lifecycle by maintaining traceability and supporting verification.
