Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Sector is seeking an Engineer Software Quality to join our team in Rancho Bernardo, CA. The role focuses on defining and monitoring mission assurance processes and ensuring software quality across programs.

The successful candidate will collaborate with program and engineering teams, witness tests, and support audits (AS9100D). A Bachelor’s in engineering/ STEM is required, with C#/C++ and Python experience, and DoD Secret clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM field.
• Ability to obtain DoD clearance at Secret level.
• Knowledge of Agile software development processes.
• Experience with C#/C++ and Python.
• Experience in process monitoring, data collection, analysis and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Program and Engineering management on quality planning and objectives.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineering to ensure quality standards are followed.
• Witness software qualification and system acceptance tests and document/test anomalies.
• Support AS9100D audits and identify non-conformances with corrective actions.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities to deliver high-quality software.
