Job summary

Gentry Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Software Quality Assurance professional to develop, apply, and maintain standards, methods, and procedures that govern software quality across programs.

You will conduct inspection, testing, verification, and validation, and ensure reliability meets contract requirements. This full-time on-site role in Huntsville requires a secret clearance, a related bachelor's degree, and 2–15 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, apply, and maintain standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems, and procedures.
• Conduct software inspection, testing, verification, and validation, and confirm that quality measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
• Review software designs, change specifications, and plans against contract and process requirements, including applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
• Perform and direct verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
• Verify hardware against applicable Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and verify connections against applicable Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Verify remove-and-replace activity for Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) that affects the system's configuration.
• Verify operating infrastructure versions, network configuration, hardware, mission application software, system name and location, and hard-drive document control numbers.
• Support hardware integration activities and events, assist Configuration Management with configuration status accounting for the labs, and support internal process compliance audits.
