Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineer to design and implement automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems. The role partnerships with development teams to expand coverage and embed automation into CI/CD pipelines to speed up delivery.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of QA automation, hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress or Playwright, and strong SQL skills for data validation.

Salary Range: $100,000-$150,000 Annually

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems. In this role you will be a key contributor to engineering quality, partnering with development teams to expand test coverage, embed automation into CI/CD pipelines, and accelerate confident software delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of QA automation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Hands-on experience automating REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid SQL skills for data validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6).
• Knowledge of containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Exposure to behavior-driven development frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
• Familiarity with security testing fundamentals (OWASP, basic penetration testing).
