Qualifications

  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience with REST API automation, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and microservices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, API, mobile, and microservices.
  • Automate UI, API, and end-to-end tests for complex applications.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD test pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
  • Perform performance testing with tools like JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust.
  • Collaborate with developers to improve test coverage and identify quality risks.
  • Troubleshoot defects, create regression tests, and mentor junior QA engineers.

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2
Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured , or similar tools.
  • Automate UI, API, and end-to-end testing for web and distributed applications.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD test pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Perform performance testing with JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify quality risks and improve test coverage.
  • Troubleshoot defects, create regression tests, and mentor junior QA engineers.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in QA Automation or SDET roles.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Hands‑on experience with REST API automation, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and microservices architecture.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Pact , JMeter , Gatling , k6 , or Locust.
  • Familiarity with security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Snyk).
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
