Responsibilities

• Monitor every phase of the software development process to ensure design quality and adherence to standards.
• Represent and report Mission Assurance, providing oversight and verification of processes.
• Define and develop SQA processes and conduct audits of code, builds, and documentation.
• Collaborate with developers to tailor processes to project needs.
• Track and coordinate changes to requirements using a tracking tool.
• Develop a framework using tracking tools to support testing activities.
• Understand relational database design, deployment, and administration.

We are looking for highly qualified Software Quality Assurance Engineer for a contract working onsite supporting NRL in Washington, DC. This is a part time position, 10 hours/week.

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer should be proficient at the following tasks and/or activities:

• Monitor every phase of the software development process so as to ensure design quality, making sure that the software adheres to defined standards.
• Represent and report Mission Assurance, to provide oversight and verification of adherence to the defined processes.
• Define and develop SQA processes and conduct audits of code, builds, and documentation to ensure adherence to the standards as defined by the SQA and MA processes.
• Work with developers to ensure the implemented processes are tailored to meet the needs of the project.
• Work with the leads to support management of the software requirement specifications.
• Track and coordinate changes to the requirements via a tracking tool.
• Develop a framework using tracking tools to support development, planning, and execution of tests.
• Customize and upgrade tracking tools.
• Understand relational database design, deployment, and administration

Security Clearance:

Candidates must possess an active SECRET clearance at minimum.
