Job summary

Soliel, LLC in the United States is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, security, and compliance of enterprise software in a secure, cloud-hosted environment. The QA Engineer will work with Agile development teams to validate system functionality and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Experience testing web-based and cloud-hosted applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test life cycle, and defect management processes.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with issue tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on system requirements and user stories.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and data validation testing for web-based and cloud-hosted applications.
• Validate integrations across GOTS, COTS, and custom-built components to ensure interoperability and data integrity.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue management tools and collaborate with development teams to support resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and validate results against acceptance criteria.
• Verify compliance with security, performance, and operational requirements.
• Contribute to quality metrics, test reports, and release readiness assessments.
• Assist with test environment coordination and release validation activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, security, and compliance of enterprise software applications operating within a secure, cloud-hosted environment. • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and data validation techniques.
• Knowledge of basic security and performance testing concepts.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain.

COMPENSATION:

• Salary: $70,000-80,000/year (flexible based on experience
