Scientific Games in Topeka, KS is seeking an entry-level Software QA Engineer to join on-site teams. You will debug software products, develop test plans, and execute automated scripts to uphold quality standards.
You will work with development engineers, generate test results, and support releases for central systems and gaming applications. This role requires willingness to be on-call and solid knowledge of Linux, SQL, and Windows environments.

Job Summary: Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Works on defined tasks that sometimes require the application of independent judgment. Developing individual contributor.
Bachelors degree in related field or Technical degree in lieu of a Bachelors degree.
