Job summary

EVERSANA INTOUCH, a global life sciences marketing agency, is seeking a Quality Analyst to join our software development team in Chicago. You will design and execute test plans, run tests across web, mobile, and email products, and report defects to help deliver high-quality software to clients.

You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers, applying both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and you’ll help improve testing processes while keeping meticulous records

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the software development industry, focused on software testing.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and the software development life cycle.
• Hands-on experience designing and executing test cases to ensure quality of software products.
• Proven track record of identifying and reporting defects and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
• Experience testing web applications, mobile apps, and emails.
• Experience with cross-browser testing tools like Sauce Labs is a plus.

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure software meets quality standards.
• Analyze test results and report defects to stakeholders.
• Identify, track, and document software issues for the project team.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure software meets requirements.
• Recommend improvements to the testing process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate work time records in the time entry system.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in QA and inclusive behaviors.
