Job summary

ASQ, a global leader in quality solutions, is seeking a Software QA Engineer II to execute manual and automated testing across the software lifecycle. You will design test plans, identify defects, validate releases, and help improve quality processes in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on testing experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with Linux-based systems. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of QA experience, familiarity with Linux, and hands-on experience

Qualifications

2-4 years of software quality assurance or software testing experience.
Associate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or TestRail.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or Postman.
Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Working knowledge of Linux, including software installation and diagnostics.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for software components.
Develop test plans, test procedures, and supporting documentation.
Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution using Jira, TestRail, or similar tools.
Execute automated tests using Selenium, TestComplete, or Postman.
Perform regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across various environments.
Collaborate with developers and project teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and report testing progress and risks.
Support software installation, Linux diagnostics, and troubleshooting during testing.
Contribute to continuous improvement and standardized testing practices.
