Job summary

Novasoft is seeking a Software Quality Test Engineer with a Chemistry background to support QA for analytical laboratory instruments and healthcare software. The role combines software testing with practical chemistry, focusing on GC/LC, GC-MS, and LC-MS systems.

You will design and execute manual and automated tests for C#/.NET, JavaScript, SaaS platforms, and REST APIs, collaborate with Engineering and R&D, and ensure software reliability through rigorous validation and release activities.

Qualifications

3+ years in software quality assurance or QA engineering.
Experience with manual and automated testing.
Experience with C#/.NET, JavaScript, SaaS apps, and REST APIs.
Knowledge of chromatography systems (GC/LC/GC-MS/LC-MS) preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated end-to-end test cases.
Create software test plans, define feature-level test scenarios, and support V&V.
Develop and execute automated tests using appropriate frameworks and scripting languages.
Test applications and integrations built with C#/.NET, JavaScript, SaaS platforms, and REST APIs.
Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to communicate test results and risks.
Perform laboratory activities related to sample analysis and instrument calibration as needed.
