Job summary
A leading tech consulting firm is seeking an entry-level Software QA Engineer to ensure product quality by assessing software functionality and identifying bugs. You will review database structures, analyze code for errors, and facilitate software maintenance. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent and 2-4 years of experience. This position comes with a competitive pay range of $46.00 - $48.00/hr and a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and 401(k) plan participation.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical languages including but not limited to Javascript, C++.
Responsibilities
- Review and test written logical database descriptions and identifiers.
- Analyze software programs for bugs and errors in written code.
- Facilitate maintenance and repair of software programs.
- Coordinate testing activities.
- Develop automation scripts using open source tools.
