Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation is seeking a Software Project Manager II to lead software initiatives for Warehouse Controls Systems (WCS) and Warehouse Execution Systems (WES). The position requires 4–7 years of related experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Requires 4-7 years of software project management experience.
• Experience in the material handling industry and automation is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and project methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scopes and requirements to drive planning.
• Read and analyze SOW/RFQ/Proposal and cost worksheets for high‑level software schedules.
• Provide software project management for material handling automation projects.
• Plan, execute, and complete software projects through the SDLC.
• Serve as main point of contact for external customers for task management.
• Coordinate BRD development and UML diagrams with stakeholders.
• Coordinate hardware/network requirements with software team and client.
• Manage testing lifecycles (QA, UAT, Factory Acceptance, Go Live).
• Track budget, resources, and risk; report status to stakeholders.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to standards.
