Job summary

ARKA Group L.P. is seeking a Software Product Owner in King of Prussia, PA to lead our Enterprise team. You will own the product backlog, translate features into specs, and work closely with engineers, UX/UI, marketing, and customer support to deliver high-impact software solutions.

This role requires a strong technical background, 5+ years in software or systems engineering, and TS/SCI clearance. You will engage in Agile ceremonies, align with stakeholders, and ensure acceptance criteria are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development, software systems engineering, or a related technical field
• 2-3+ years as Product Owner or similar role (e.g., Scrum Master)
• Proven experience in an Agile environment
• Strong verbal and written communication to articulate complex concepts
• Data-driven decision making and analytical problem solving
• Experience with modern cloud providers (AWS/Azure) and Kubernetes
• Experience with React or Angular and source control tools (Git, GitLab)
• Ability to work in office full time and hold active TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Backlog management: own, refine, and prioritize user stories and epics with engineers and architects
• Translate high-level features into actionable specs for the engineering team
• Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders and provide project updates
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features
• Define acceptance criteria and verify delivered solutions
• Leverage technical background to discuss constraints and trade-offs with engineers
