Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced engineer to drive the design, development, and testing of real-time software for a hardware demonstration in El Segundo, CA. You will build simulation models, sensor interfaces, and pose-estimation pipelines for a HIL demo.

The role requires strong C++ and Python skills, experience with RTCF VMS, and familiarity with Atlassian tools. You will contribute to Agile processes and coordinate with hardware and program teams to meet the 2026 milestone.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM with 12 years of experience, or Master's with 10 years, or PhD with 8 years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance and SAP.
• Proficient in C++ and Python.
• Experience developing and deploying RTCF VMS software solutions of real-time hardware.
• Experience in design and development of simulation models.
• Experience and proficiency with using Atlassian toolset (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).
