Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Integration Software Engineer with strong expertise in C#, .NET, Microsoft Azure, REST APIs, and API/integration development. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining APIs and integration solutions that enable secure and reliable data exchange between systems.

Responsibilities :

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Azure integration services, API lifecycle management, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-based API security.

• Work with Microsoft Azure Tools to deploy code to the Azure cloud environment Implement end-to-end API and Integration delivery, including requirements, design, development, documentation, testing, maintenance and support.
• Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 or higher, Visual Studio Code, and other development tools for custom software development and maintenance.
• Utilize GitHub for source control and GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
• Use Azure DevOps Boards to document user stories and tasks and coordinate work.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and distribution of standards and best practices for API and Integration development
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve integration performance and functionality issues.
• Use Terraform to create and update Azure resources.
• Partner with project managers to estimate effort, assign tasks, and track progress to meet timelines and realign project efforts when work is off course or solutions are not technically feasible.
• Conduct code reviews for quality, security, and adherence to development standards.
• Develop and maintain unit tests for custom-built APIs and Integrations.
• Write technical documentation for integration solutions and user acceptance test plans.

Level of Education

• B.S. or B.A. Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field) and professional experience designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining API’s and other Integration solutions.
• 5 + Years of Experience as an Integration Software Engineer

Rest API, API Lifecycle

• 5+ Years of Experience working with REST APIs. Familiar with authentication using OpenID, JWT, bearer tokens, or other standard authentication schemes.
• 5 + Experience with Azure Integration code development (Azure function App with. Net8, Azure service bus, Azure API Management, Azure Data Factory etc.)
• Other Integration platforms Experience with Other integration tools and platforms, such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato, Apigee, Kafka etc.

Experience with other languages:

• Java, PowerShell, Bash scripts, Cron jobs Integration Testing 3+ Experience using Postman for testing APIs.
• Terraform Experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• OWASP Top 10 for API’s 5+ Experience implementing
