Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Irving, TX is seeking a Senior Engineer in TECHNOLOGY to lead secure source-control and artifact-management practices for data, AI, simulation, and infrastructure assets. You will define repository structures, access controls, and CI/CD integrations, supporting deployment and release processes.

Responsibilities include guiding large-file strategies, artifact handling, and developer onboarding, with a focus on governance, security, and auditability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in software configuration management, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on Git administration and enterprise repository governance.
• Experience with artifact/package/container registries and secure software-supply-chain controls.

Responsibilities

• Establish and operate secure source-control and artifact-management practices for data, AI, simulation, infrastructure, and test assets.
• Design repository structure, branching, pull-request, review, merge, tagging, release, and archival practices.
• Configure identity, team permissions, protected branches, code ownership, secrets controls, and auditability.
• Define approaches for large files, datasets, model artifacts, containers, packages, and reusable components.
• Integrate repositories with CI/CD, code quality, security scanning, issue tracking, and release management.
• Create migration, backup, recovery, retention, and developer-onboarding guidance.
