We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!

The role is part of the In‑Space Systems business unit, which is focused on addressing two of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space infrastructure and increasing mobility on-orbit.

As part of a hardworking team of engineers, you will be a key player in creating a groundbreaking software simulation testbed. Join our team and be at the forefront of innovation, taking ownership of planning, architectural design, requirements gathering, certification, and implementation for the exciting new software simulation testbed.

Your expertise will be vital in owning development and planning of simulation models and test scripts. You’ll contribute to critical work being performed by the development and testing teams, implementing simulation solutions crucial for the project's success. Moreover, you'll develop sophisticated simulation models that precisely reflect scenarios and craft detailed test scripts to guarantee integration and test events.

Collaborate with teammates and valued customers to capture essential requirements, contributing to the creation of a comprehensive testbed for the Blue Ring Spacecraft that supports a wide range of development and operational activities.

This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and attention towards safe and reliable spaceflight.

  • Work with external customers and internal engineering teams to develop customer-specific simulation solution requirements.
  • Develop and execute tests on simulations to ensure robustness of models.
  • Develop intricate test scripts designed to ensure detailed integration and the success of crucial test events.
  • Support hardware/software integration efforts including anchoring simulations to hardware data.
  • Up to 10-15% domestic travel required.
