Qualifications

• 8–10 years of software engineering or technology delivery experience.
• At least 2+ years of people management and leadership experience building high-performing engineering teams.
• Experience leading multiple agile squads across full-stack applications, APIs, microservices, platform modernization, integration services, and production enhancements.
• Hands-on or technical leadership with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, Java container frameworks, Docker, OpenShift, AWS or cloud-native development, Angular or React, SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong background in scalable design, security, performance, resiliency, and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple agile squads delivering modern full-stack application capabilities including user-facing apps, APIs, microservices, integration services, and platform modernization.
• Provide technical direction across squads by guiding solution design and scalable engineering decisions.
• Partner with Product Owners, architecture, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align priorities and deliver outcomes.
• Drive design and implementation of Java-based microservices, REST APIs, front-end apps, and integration services using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Angular/React, and databases.
• Establish and reinforce standards for testing, security, deployment discipline, and production readiness.
• Mentor engineers, manage performance, and foster talent development.
