Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking an experienced Software Manager to lead a team developing NVLINK Switches and GPUs in firmware and the PHY connectivity layer for HPC data centers.

You will own major features end-to-end, mentor engineers, and serve as the primary technical contact for strategic customers while remaining hands-on (about 50%). The base salary ranges from 224k to 356.5k for Level 3 and 272k to 431.25k for Level 4, with equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8+ total years of technical experience; 3+ years managing a team.
• Proficiency in Python, C, and C++.
• Experience leading software/firmware projects and mentoring.
• Ability to self-teach and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a high-impact team across software and firmware layers.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for strategic customers.
• Investigate issues in customer setups and support NVLINK system bring-up.
• Own development of major features end-to-end.
• Be hands-on in OS software coding and debugging (~50%).
• Collaborate with offshore teams.
