Job summary

Disney Experiences in Florida seeks a Manager, Software Engineer to own the end-to-end delivery and sustainment of software for Disney Cruise Line, coordinating with Product, Operations, Design and Project Management to move initiatives from concept through funding and delivery.

You will lead a team of engineers to ensure 100% availability and reliability, mentor Cast Members, balance capital and expense priorities, and partner with sponsors and executives to deliver on-time, in-scope solutions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related software engineering experience.
• Strong communication and leadership to grow the team.
• Experience leading frontend and backend delivery in multi-vendor environments.
• Knowledge of Flutter Web and Angular frontend, NodeJS and Java backends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resource planning and billing processes to support financial integrity.
• Lead an engineering team delivering software across multiple environments.
• Improve delivery efficiency and align with business goals and timelines.
• Manage external vendor relationships and contract obligations.
