Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Software Engineering Manager in Boston with a strong background in Java and React to lead a global engineering team and deliver enterprise-grade software.

You will drive AI initiatives, guide product roadmaps, and ensure high-quality delivery across cloud-native architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP while collaborating with stakeholders and promoting an inclusive, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years' technology leadership experience, ideally managing globally distributed teams.
• Working knowledge of AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
• Experience with Generative AI tools and frameworks such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, and LangChain.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and designing cloud-native architectures.
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong enterprise software architecture and API development experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Proven experience working within a Product Operating Model.
• 5+ years' hands-on Java development experience.
• 5+ years' hands-on React or modern front-end development experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
