Job summary

MITRE seeks a student intern for software development across Front-End, Back-End, Middleware, or Full-Stack, including AI/ML, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and more. Roles require ongoing enrollment and on-site work at MITRE facilities.

Selected interns may engage in projects spanning VR, IoT, UX/UI, and modeling/simulation. Applicants should be enrolled in CS/Software Eng and demonstrate strong academic performance, with prior internship or lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines.
• Must continue to be enrolled the semester following the internship.
• Foundational knowledge of computer science and/or software engineering methodologies, frameworks, tools and/or programming languages.
• Must have sustained excellence in academic performance.
• This position has an on-site requirement of 3 days a week minimum.
