Rhombus is seeking a summer engineering intern in Sacramento to contribute to real products and the systems behind them. You will work on a scoped project, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers to translate user needs into technical solutions.

You will write readable, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and test and debug with a focus on reliability, performance, security, and user experience. Expect mentorship and a final project presentation.

Competenze

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and graduating by June 2028.
• Foundational knowledge in programming, data structures, algorithms.
• Experience with at least one programming language through coursework or projects.
• Evidence of a project, test, or improvement and the ability to explain it.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Preference for prior internship experience, especially in product development.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• Ability to work at Rhombus HQ during Summer 2027 (June-August).
• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field of study and graduating by June 2028.
• A foundation in programming, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
• Experience using at least one programming language through coursework, personal projects, research, or a previous internship.
• Evidence of something you’ve built, tested, or improved—and the ability to explain your approach.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to ask questions, learn new tools, and act on feedback.
• Clear communication and the ability to collaborate with teammates.
• Prior professional internship experience is preferred.
• Prior internship experience developing and launching product is a plus.
