Qualifications

• Rising senior or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Experience with Java and/or JavaScript through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Understanding of object‑oriented programming principles and software design concepts.
• Exposure to front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Next.js.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of frameworks/tools like Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Selenium, Jasmine or Karma is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Unrestricted permanent U.S. work authorization.

Job Description

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced software engineers to design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications that drive Medline's Warehouse Management Systems and E‑Commerce platforms. This role provides exposure to both front‑end and back‑end development, allowing interns to contribute across the software development lifecycle while collaborating in an agile, team-oriented environment.

• Write technical documentation to support software maintenance and usability.
• Analyze business requirements and contribute to solution design discussions.

The anticipated salary range for this position: $23.25 - $33.75 Hourly. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
