Job summary

Samsara is seeking interns to tackle high-impact engineering challenges across our Connected Operations platform. Depending on the team, you may help scale data ingestion and storage for 15,000+ hardware assets and thousands of customers worldwide, while also contributing to frontend work with React Native and collaborating with product and design to iterate on features that deliver real customer value.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, SWE, Physics, or DS and expected to graduate by 2028/2029.
• Hybrid internship: 3 days per week in our San Francisco, CA office.
• Full-time, paid experience - interns are expected not to be enrolled in school full-time while working.

Responsibilities

• Help build backend infrastructure powering Samsara's IoT platform.
• Contribute to full-stack work with React Native frontend.
• Support embedded software projects on Samsara hardware including edge AI and real-time processing.
• Collaborate with product and design to rapidly iterate on features delivering real customer value.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science
