Job summary

Vercel, the creator of the next-generation web platform, is seeking an Engineering Intern in San Francisco. You will join our engineering team, work on real projects, and receive mentorship to grow your skills in production code and modern web tech.

You'll own end-to-end tasks, write and review code, debug systems, and communicate progress clearly while learning from experienced engineers. A degree in CS/Engineering and knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript are expected, with Go or Rust as a bonus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CS/Engineering degree; graduation 2027/2028.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript; Go or Rust bonus.
• Proactive problem solver who surfaces blockers early.
• Excellent written communication in asynchronous environments.
• Based in San Francisco and able to commute Mon/Tues/Fri.

Responsibilities

• Own an end-to-end project from scope to ship.
• Write and review production code alongside engineers.
• Debug real systems and fix root causes.
• Communicate progress clearly, including blockers.
