Vercel in San Francisco is seeking an Engineering Intern to contribute to real projects that impact our products and customers. You will be mentored by experienced engineers and have opportunities to grow your technical and professional skills.

You will own end-to-end work, write and review production code, debug systems, and communicate progress clearly, even when blocked. This role is ideal for self-driven students who thrive on solving tough problems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CS/Engineering degree with expected graduation in 2027 or 2028.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript; Go or Rust bonus.
• Analytical mindset; proactive, communicates progress clearly.
• Based in San Francisco and able to commute Mon/Tues/Fri.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project: scope it with your manager, build it, ship it, and see it in customers' hands.
• Write and review production code alongside the engineers who maintain it.
• Debug real systems under real conditions - trace an issue through the stack and fix the root cause.
• Communicate your progress clearly, including when you're blocked.
