Job summary

Allied Solutions offers a 12-week Software Engineer Internship at our Carmel, IN headquarters. Rising juniors and seniors will work full-time (40 hours/week) from May 17th to Aug. 6th, 2027, applying coding skills to real client-facing systems.

You’ll develop with .Net/C#, JavaScript (React/Angular), Python, and SQL, participate in code reviews and CI/CD, and gain practical knowledge of modern software engineering and AI-assisted coding.

Qualifications

• Coursework or project experience with at least one programming language such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Exposure to relational databases and SQL through coursework or a personal project.
• Experience using AI tools to support coding, with the judgment to verify outputs.

Responsibilities

• Write code that satisfies user story acceptance criteria with tests.
• Debug code and analyze data, queries, and application behavior.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, designers, and system owners in the SDLC.
• Participate in code reviews and use static analysis tools to keep code clean.

The Allied Solutions internship program is a robust and consistent internship program for juniors and seniors. The program will focus on learning and development as well as hands-on experience. The program will immerse the intern into a broad range of responsibilities, allowing you to ship work that reaches the clients who rely on our systems every day.Interested applicants must be available during the 12-week program (May 17th – Aug. 6th, 2027). This is a full-time internship (40-hours per week) based at our headquarters in Carmel, IN.The Software Engineer Intern will directly assist the Enterprise Technology Department with many software development projects.
