JR Automation is seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineering Intern/Co-op to join our dynamic team. This hybrid/remote role is located in Greenville, SC and offers hands-on experience in software development, automation, and engineering practices with real-world client impact.

You will work closely with experienced engineers on a variety of projects, developing and maintaining software solutions while learning industry practices and tools.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
• Strong desire to pursue a career in software engineering.

This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development, automation, and engineering practices. You will work closely with our experienced engineers on real-world projects that impact our clients and the industry.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Develop and/or maintain a wide range of software solutions.

• Take an active role in learning the skills necessary to accomplish assigned tasks through a combination of self-study and engaging experienced team members for guidance/instruction.

• Approach all assignments with an appropriate sense of urgency in order to meet required timelines.
• Travel as necessary to complete assignments.
