Job summary

Radiance Technologies, an employee-owned company serving Dayton area NASIC customers, seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to design web-based tools that reduce user friction and improve usability of complex Modeling/Simulation systems. The candidate should show an eye for clean layouts and intuitive user workflows via a portfolio or open-source projects.

Responsibilities include implementing new capabilities, fixing issues, and integrating with external services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM field.
• Ability to organize and clearly communicate complex technical details.
• Experience with RESTful web services.
• Experience with server-side languages (prefer Python and/or C++).
• Strong preference for modern frontend JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with version control software (Git).
• Experience with Jira or similar bug/issue tracking tools.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance.

The Full Stack Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on creating web-based tools aimed at decreasing user friction and improving usability of existing complex Modeling and Simulation systems.

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate experience and an eye for clean layouts, typography, and intuitive user workflows via personal portfolio or open-source contributions.

• Able to demonstrate experience via personal portfolio or open-source contributions
