Radiance Technologies is seeking a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to support NASIC with web-based tools that reduce user friction and improve existing Modeling and Simulation systems. You will contribute to clean layouts, typography, and intuitive user workflows, with on-site requirements after clearance.

The role offers remote work options and opportunities in a growing defense IT environment. Qualifications include a CS/ STEM degree, 0–2 years in React/Angular frontend and NodeJS/Python

The Junior Full Stack Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on creating web-based tools aimed at decreasing user friction and improving usability of existing complex Modeling and Simulation systems. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate experience and an eye for clean layouts, typography, and intuitive user workflows via personal portfolio or open-source contributions. While work from home is available, once the candidate holds a TS/SCI security clearance it is expected to work onsite at Wright Patterson AFB, at a minimum once a week.

Desired Experience

• Secret Security Clearance or higher is a plus but not required
• Experience working with simulation frameworks, such as AFSIM, ITASE and/or NGTS
• Experience with Docker (containerized deployment) is a plus
• Experience utilizing NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB is a plus
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab CI or Jenkins is a plus
• Experience with HELM is a plus
• Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA is a plus
