Description

We are seeking a talented software engineer to develop the next generation of features for Visual Intelligence, including computer vision/machine learning, sensor fusion, simulation and evaluation pipelines, APIs, and core backend components. Our primary programming language is Swift, so prior experience with Swift is highly preferred. However, we welcome applications from outstanding engineers with no Swift experience who are eager to learn.

Minimum Qualifications

• 0-10 years of professional software development experience
• Experience with computer vision, real-time perception, digital signal processing, camera/sensor pipelines, sensor fusion, ISPs, robotics, or related fields at the intersection of hardware, software, and machine learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Swift, Xcode, and Apple's developer APIs is a plus
• Strong learning mentality and willingness to experiment, learn from successes and failures
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, with experience shipping software. Experience in computer vision, machine learning, digital signal processing, or robotics is a plus. At Apple, base pay is part of a comprehensive compensation package, with a range between $135,400 and $250,600, depending on skills, experience, and location.
