Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Publisher Monetization team focused on Video Ads within the Ads - Video Demand group. You will build enterprise-scale advertising tech powering premium brand experiences across Prime Video's global platform.

You will lead design, code large components, and deploy systems that handle dynamic ad patterns, slot management, and new ad formats. A startup-minded leader who thrives in ambiguity will fit well.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Understand the fundamentals of Amazon’s advertising stacks and related industry standards.
• Drive architectural solutions for advertising workflows that scale.
• Lead the design of large components, code, and deploy enterprise-level systems.
• Decompose complex problems into simple flexible designs.
