Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Publisher Monetization team focused on Video Ads within the Ads - Video Demand group. You will build enterprise-scale advertising tech powering premium brand experiences across Prime Video's global platform.

You will lead design, code large components, and deploy systems that handle dynamic ad patterns, slot management, and new ad formats. A startup-minded leader who thrives in ambiguity will fit well.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

We're seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team to growth the premium product offerings. You'll be at the forefront of building enterprise-scale advertising technology that powers premium brand experiences across Prime Video's global platform.

To be successful in this role, you will focus on building solutions for complex ad serving scenarios, including dynamic commercial break patterns and specialized ad slot management, collaborate with Prime Video and Publishing Technology teams to implement new advertising formats and drive technical solutions for product features like category exclusivity, targeting controls, and impression-based sponsorships.

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field


• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience


• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
