Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Senior Mobile Systems Engineer to onsite in Burlingame with options across Sunnyvale, MPK, or NYC. You will design and implement end-to-end mobile systems, wearables, and distributed backends.

Your role emphasizes Kotlin/Swift development, advanced concurrency, and debugging complex race conditions to ensure high reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Swift for mobile development.
• Experience with client-server and distributed backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement systems spanning iOS/Android apps, wearables, and backend services.
• Develop mobile software primarily using Kotlin and/or Swift.
• Design and troubleshoot multithreaded, asynchronous and event-driven systems.
• Debug complex race conditions, thread-safety issues, deadlocks and concurrency problems.
• Optimize CPU, memory, latency, and overall system reliability.
• Collaborate across client/server boundaries with wearables and AI/ML engineering as advantages.

• Develop mobile software primarily using Kotlin and/or Swift.
