Job summary

CACI is seeking a Software Engineer to join a multi-contractor team focused on designing, developing, and maintaining a modern web application for space operations data analysis and timely decision-making.

Required: Java with Spring, TS/SCI with Poly, 5 years in software engineering, and a related bachelor’s degree. Desired: Kubernetes deployment and AWS experience. The role involves collaboration across engineering disciplines and supporting lifecycle activities.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in software engineering for information technology.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Program Systems Engineers to understand requirements and provide feedback
• Interface with Software and Integration Engineers to containerize, test, and deploy services
• Assist the program team to provide demonstrations to stakeholders
• Provide software engineering support across multiple phases of the systems engineering lifecycle to include technical planning, CONOP development, requirement analysis, system design, scheduling, system integration, verification and validation, training, cost and risk assessment
• Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel
• Provide support to system maintainers for investigation of operational issues
