Job summary
WOOD Federal Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance complex software systems in a fast-paced environment in San Antonio, Texas. The role includes working independently or in a team to deliver high-quality software, test against design requirements, and contribute to system-level design through analysis of hardware/software tradeoffs.
The position requires U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
Qualifications
- Seven (7) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
- Debug existing software and correct defects.
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
- Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and data flows.
- Modify existing software to improve its performance.
