Teradyne in San Jose is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for the Compute Software Division. You will lead customer interactions in the local region and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements.

The role emphasizes designing robust components, writing high-quality code, and thorough testing to minimize defects. Strong OO programming and problem-solving are essential, with familiarity with IDEs and debugging tools.

• Familiar with integrated development environment and debug tools.
• Solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficient in C#, C++, Java (or equivalent object-oriented programming languages).

• Co-op or internship experience is a plus.

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is$142,600 - $228,200.This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
