Job summary
Regions Bank is seeking a Software Engineer Team Leader to guide a skilled development team within its Technology department in the Birmingham area. The role focuses on designing, building, testing, and maintaining applications with modern DevOps practices and scalable architectures.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate leadership, hands-on coding expertise, and the ability to drive performance improvements while mentoring peers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Seven (7) years of related experience.
- Experience with test-driven development.
- Experience with agile development processes.
Responsibilities
- Assigns and directs the work of team members.
- Estimates team level timelines and technical efforts for planning purposes.
- Designs, develops, tests, and deploys software using a combination of custom and off-the-shelf tools.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with architects, business users, project managers/Scrum Masters and other engineers to achieve sustainable solutions.
