Job summary

FIS is seeking a Software Engineer in Wisconsin to design, develop, and enhance fintech software products. You will collaborate with product managers, training, and sales teams within an Agile scrum framework to deliver high-quality solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Java/J2EE and related tech, with experience in banking/payments domains, REST APIs, Docker, Maven and Git. A strong SDLC background and ability to work cross-functionally are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer engineering, computer science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with JAVA/J2EE, struts or spring, hibernate, EJB, Oracle, rest api, docker, maven, git.
• Banking/Payments domain, and end-to-end SDLC knowledge are a plus.
• Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations; fluent in sequence diagrams and class models.

About the role:

As a Software Engineer you could work with bleeding edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.

About the team:

This team is an Agile scrum team with everyone expected to work as a cross functional team member to achieve the team targets per sprint each PI.

What you will be doing:
