Job summary

Veritas is seeking a software developer to design, implement, and maintain applications, enhancing efficiency and processes across the organization. You will work with management to deliver reliable software solutions and support users through ongoing improvements.

The role requires building SQL-based data solutions, understanding new technologies, and collaborating with IT teams. Travel is optional (<10%), and a commitment to quality and code standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL or relational databases.
• Ability to develop and maintain applications using computer programming language.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow, Green, and/or Black Belt Certified a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications as directed by department management.
• Assist with special projects identified by management bringing an information technology perspective to the solution.
• Identify areas and processes that could be improved upon with current software or new software development.
• Develop understanding of new technology and assist in the application of that technology within the organization.
• Develop and maintain SQL databases to support applications and development.
• Provide secondary support for network administration along with user workstations and servers.
