Job summary

CX2 is building AI-enabled hardware and software platforms to detect, disrupt, and defend the electromagnetic spectrum. We seek engineers who will implement automated provisioning, manage secure configurations, and support operations in air-gapped environments, ensuring compliance with DoD standards and RMF/DISA/STIGs.

You will operate in a high-responsibility role within a foundational engineering team, with growth opportunities in cutting-edge electromagnetic warfare capabilities.

Qualifications

• Build automated provisioning frameworks from bare metal to hardened baselines.
• Support air-gapped and disconnected environments with common tooling.
• Document and implement security controls to meet DoD accreditation standards.
• Work within RMF, DISA STIGs, NIST SP 800-53, and FedRAMP frameworks.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Secure edge and hybrid cloud infrastructure, including device provisioning, secrets rotation, and system hardening.
• Ensure security holds up in disrupted, degraded, intermittent, or limited (DDIL) network conditions.

Provisioning and Configuration:

• Build automated, reproducible provisioning frameworks from bare metal to hardened, mission-ready baselines.
• Support air-gapped and disconnected environments with tools like Ansible, Chef, Terraform, and OpenTofu.

Compliance and Accreditation:

• Implement and document security controls to meet DoD and Intelligence Community accreditation standards.
• Work within frameworks such as RMF, DISA STIGs, NIST SP 800-53, and FedRAMP.
