Join seeks a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer to operate at the intersection of customer success, solution engineering, cybersecurity, data engineering, and AI-enabled automation. You will work directly with U.S.

power utilities and government customers to address urgent cyber and operational risks with rapid, productized capabilities. You will translate customer needs into scalable software requirements, write secure production code, and clearly present findings to executives and technical

Qualifications

7-10 years of experience at senior or principal level in software/data engineering, cybersecurity analysis, and customer-facing solution engineering.
Hands-on experience developing AI-agentic workflows (LLM-based automation, agent orchestration, retrieval-augmented pipelines, or similar).
Ability to access, normalize, and analyze large, multi-source data sets to answer urgent operational questions.
Ability to write pragmatic, secure, production-quality code (e.g., Python) in constrained or regulated environments.
Strong executive communication, including presenting complex technical findings to leadership.

Responsibilities

Work with U.S. power utilities and government customers to reduce cyber risk and improve visibility.
Understand customer processes, data, cyber posture, and constraints to deliver working solutions.
Translate bespoke customer work into product requirements for scalable capabilities.
Present findings to customer executives and internal stakeholders.
Identify expansion opportunities by demonstrating customer value and repeatable use cases.
