Job summary

Apple seeks a Software Engineer - SoC Level Validation Engineer in Cupertino, CA. You will validate next‑generation processors, crafting system‑level tests and driving validation across pre‑ and post‑silicon stages to ensure high quality of Apple Silicon.

You will write directed and random tests for SoC/CPU, develop and maintain the system‑level SW platform, and lead plans for SoC projects while collaborating with designers to meet validation goals.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in EE or CS + 10 years of experience
• Embedded programming experience

Preferred Qualifications

• SOC and CPU knowledge; consider the following: Micro-architecture, Memory hierarchy, Interrupt and DMA, Clock and Power Gating, System level understanding, & Experience with SoC bringup
• C/C++ and Assembly language programmer
• Knowledge of Hardware and Software debug tools and methods
• Experience with scopes

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,700 and $324,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
