Job summary

Auria is seeking a Software Engineer (All Experience Levels) to support the Sentinel program, contributing to the design of our nation's ICBM system. This on-site role at a contractor facility in Ogden, UT follows a 9/80 schedule, with no remote or hybrid option.

You will work with an Agile team across the SDLC to deliver robust software for the C2ES team and Sentinel Node architectures. Candidates must hold a CS degree, be a US citizen with active clearance, and be prepared to obtain TS/SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 1 year of experience in a similar scope or a Master's/Doctoral degree.
• Experience with C++, Python, Bash and OO programming.
• US citizen with active DoD Secret clearance (investigation within 6 years).
• Must obtain Top Secret and SAP clearance in due time.
• Mission-driven professional willing to develop advanced national security solutions.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with SDLC and test frameworks.
• Experience with AF nuclear surety standards (DO-178C, AFMAN 91-119) is beneficial.
• Security and software safety awareness is valued.

Responsibilities

• Support the software requirements baseline and align with program goals.
• Collaborate in agile software requirements development with teammates.
• Assist in major program events and overall technical execution.
• Address high-level systems challenges within the IMS schedule.
• Contribute to strategic tools, processes, and cross-segment reviews.
• Interface with SMEs to document Sentinel Node structure across SysML/UML.
• Apply MBSE principles to component design.
• Develop technical content for internal/external presentations.
• Maintain software design docs and follow CM requirements.
• Support decomposition, derivation, and traceability of requirements.
