Job summary

Auria is seeking a Software Engineer (All Experience Levels) to support the Sentinel program in the Huntsville, AL area. This 100% on-site role follows a 9/80 work schedule and requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain DoD clearance.

You will join the C2ES team, contribute to all SDLC phases, and work with C++, Python, and other tools within an agile framework. Remote or hybrid work is not available. The salary range reflects experience and program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience on a project of similar scope or complexity (0 years with a Master’s or Doctoral degree).
• Experience with software programming and scripting in a C++, Python, Bash, OOP, type environment.
• Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance, with an investigation date within scope (6 years).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret and SAP clearance as required by the program.

Responsibilities

• Support the C2ES team through all phases of the SDLC and ensure alignment with program goals.
• Contribute to planning, requirements analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Collaborate across the program portfolio to execute major events.
• Capture Sentinel Node structure and behavior across SysML/UML using MBSE.
• Maintain software design documentation and follow configuration management requirements.
• Support software requirement decomposition, derivation, and traceability.
